yes, the ipod touch will work with your linksys wireless router. brbrI have an ipod touch, and its extremely useful. Music, video, podcasts, yes, but the difference between it and other similar devices is that it has a real browser. Plus a youtube browser.brbrI love mine.

im gonna get it for christmas. its the new one so it has speakers and stuff. is there anything i should know. should i get it or not.

yes the biggest risk is that if you drop it just once the screen may shatter. i would stick with the latest generation nano. i am very happy with it, i have dropped it a few times and it still looks and works like brand new.bri would wait till the iphone is cheaper and then use the ipone for your music needs.blureybr

my friend has the ipod touch and she says that she LOVES it so much.There are different things you can do on there like play games, go on the internet you have to have a wireless signal though to go on the internet and you can check your email, check out Stocks and even see the weather and traffic and of course listen to music and watch videos. Getting the gb one would be better because you can save a lot more on your ipod touch than you would with the normal gb one.

Is the iPod touch just an iPhone without the phone?
Im thinking about getting the touch, but I was wondering if I can get apps from the iTunes store for the touch, or are apps just for the iPhone?

Nope the app store is for both but the iPhone isnt the only one that can make phone calls. If you get a mic for the touch and install fring and use VOIP you can make phone calls from the itouch and text free . but worth it you can use to text but of course you wifi signal.

of course!!! namos can only have music and games and the screans tiny.brtouch...well thats another story. the ipod touches may be more expensive but they are worth it because the touch is like an iphone .brexept it does not have a camera and cannot call and the seaker thing on top. but it has navigation notes ipod and bigger screan and much better.brbrbad thing is my ones screan broke because i clicked a button it told me notto press next thing i know it exploded from the inside!brbrnow i have a classic which i am very fond of brbrbye bye.
